Terms of Service
General website and inquiry terms for custom buttons, metal trims, sampling, and B2B apparel hardware development.
Last updated: April 29, 2026
These terms govern use of noraforge.com and initial business communication with Noraforge. Final orders, quotations, specifications, payment terms, testing requirements, and delivery terms should be confirmed in writing for each project.
1. Website Use
This website provides general information about Noraforge, custom buttons, rivets, snaps, buckles, zipper pullers, eyelets, badges, apparel hardware, materials, finishes, sampling, and production processes. Website content is for B2B informational purposes and is not a binding offer.
2. Inquiries and Quotations
Any quotation, MOQ, sampling timeline, unit price, tooling cost, test requirement, or delivery estimate depends on the confirmed product specification, material, finish, quantity, artwork, packaging, destination, and compliance needs.
A quotation becomes valid only when issued in writing by Noraforge and within the validity period stated in that quotation.
3. Samples and Product Development
Custom apparel hardware often requires review of reference samples, photos, drawings, logo artwork, material requirements, finish targets, and garment application. Sampling may involve structure selection, mold review, surface treatment trials, color matching, and buyer approval.
Unless otherwise agreed, samples are for evaluation only and may differ from final bulk production until specifications are approved in writing.
4. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers are responsible for providing accurate project information, including intended market, garment type, product use, safety requirements, testing standards, artwork rights, quantity, packaging needs, and delivery deadline. Incomplete or changing requirements may affect price, sampling time, production lead time, and feasibility.
5. Compliance and Testing
Noraforge can support compliance-conscious projects, including requirements related to OEKO-TEX-oriented component documentation, REACH-oriented material control, CPSIA-conscious children and baby product requirements, nickel-free finishes, lead-safe metal components, salt spray testing, pull strength checks, and lot consistency.
Final compliance requirements depend on the buyer’s product, target market, applicable law, and testing standard. Noraforge does not provide legal advice. Buyers should confirm applicable requirements with their own compliance teams, labs, or advisors.
6. Intellectual Property and Artwork
Buyers must have the right to use any logo, artwork, brand name, drawing, reference image, or design file submitted to Noraforge. Noraforge may use submitted materials only to evaluate, sample, quote, or produce the buyer’s project.
Noraforge reserves its rights in its own website content, photos, process materials, technical know-how, and non-client-specific product references.
7. Orders, Payment, and Delivery
Order terms, deposit, balance payment, Incoterms, shipping method, inspection requirements, and delivery schedule should be confirmed in the relevant quotation, pro forma invoice, purchase order, or written agreement.
Production lead times usually begin after written approval of samples, confirmation of specifications, and receipt of required payment or documents.
8. Tolerances and Production Variation
Custom hardware may have reasonable production tolerances in color, plating tone, antique wash, texture, dimension, weight, logo depth, and packaging. Critical tolerances should be confirmed before sampling and bulk production.
9. Limitation of Website Information
We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, error-free, or suitable for every buyer’s specific project. Product availability, molds, finishes, MOQ, and timelines may change.
